The Miller Family Award for Two-Year Accounting Teaching Excellence honors outstanding accounting educators teaching at two-year and associate-degree granting institutions across the United States.
Established in honor of Kipp and Sylvia Miller, the award celebrates educators who demonstrate excellence in teaching, inspire student success, and strengthen the accounting profession through innovation, service, and leadership.

The award includes a $5,000 prize and provides funding for the recipient to attend and present at the 2027 TACTYC Conference, held May 20–22, 2027, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The Miller Family Award recognizes educators whose passion for teaching has made a meaningful impact on students, colleagues, and the accounting profession.
In addition to receiving national recognition, the recipient will present at the 2027 TACTYC Conference, sharing innovative teaching strategies and best practices with accounting educators from across the country.
