Dr. Tracie L. Miller serves as Department Chair of Accounting and Financial Management at Franklin University's Ross College of Business. She is an experienced accounting educator and academic leader whose work centers on curriculum development, particularly in introductory accounting and data analytics, where she has led redesign efforts to strengthen conceptual understanding, professional readiness, and alignment with the profession's evolving needs.

Dr. Miller is actively engaged in national and state professional organizations, including leadership roles with TACTYC, TXCPA, and the American Accounting Association. She has been recognized with several honors, including the American Accounting Association's J. Michael and Mary Anne Cook / Deloitte Foundation Prize, which recognizes outstanding contributions to accounting education.

In addition to her academic leadership, Dr. Miller is a co-author of Pearson's Principles of Accounting and Survey of Accounting. Through her textbook authorship and curricular work, she continues to influence accounting education, ensuring classroom practice aligns with employer needs and the profession's future.
