Connie M. Belden received her Master’s in Business Administration from Wichita State University and a Master’s of Science in Educational Leadership from Kansas State University. She is a Professor of Accounting & Business Administration at Butler Community College where she has taught for 30 years.
Connie is continually developing courses into a quality online format. She has spoken at several conferences (including TACTYC) on tips and guidelines for successful online learning. She is a certified Quality Matters Master Reviewer for online courses.
Connie serves as part of the Butler Community College Curriculum Team, Faculty Development Team, and Accessibility Task Force. She has received several teaching awards including Butler Community College Master Teacher (2015), ACBSP Region 5 Teaching Excellence Award (2018), and the American Accounting Association Cook Award (2020).
Connie co-author for the latest edition of "College Accounting" textbook from Cengage Publishing.
Besides serving on the TACTYC Board, she is active volunteering in the community.
She and her husband, Steve (in the banking industry), have two grown children and live near Wichita, Kansas.
