Connie M. Belden received her Master's in Business Administration from Wichita State University and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Kansas State University. She is a Professor and Department Chair of Accounting & Business Administration at Butler Community College, where she has taught for more than 35 years.

Connie is continually developing courses into a quality online format. She has spoken at several conferences, including TACTYC, on tips and guidelines for successful online learning, and is a certified Quality Matters Master Reviewer for online courses.

She serves on the Butler Community College Curriculum Team, Faculty Development Team, and Accessibility Task Force. Her teaching awards include Butler Community College Master Teacher (2015), the ACBSP Region 5 Teaching Excellence Award (2018), and the American Accounting Association Cook Award (2020). Connie is a co-author of the latest edition of the College Accounting textbook from Cengage Publishing.

Besides serving on the TACTYC Board, she is active volunteering in the community. She and her husband Steve, who works in the banking industry and teaches finance, have two grown children and live near Wichita, Kansas, with roots in the Kansas City area as well.
