Effective Teaching Practices Forum
Do you have a great teaching idea, a unique way of teaching an accounting concept, or a tip or trick you want to share? Maybe you would like to showcase a course that you've developed or share a technology tool you use in your course? If so, this session is for you!
The Effective Teaching Practices session will allow participants to share a teaching idea in a poster session or demonstrate a technology tool at one of the hands on roundtables. Participants in the poster session should display a novel teaching tip or assignment for a course currently taught. Faculty should also be ready to discuss how to use this tip or assignment one-on-one with conference participants. Presenters at the technology roundtables should bring their technology tool to demonstrate and let conference attendees try it out and ask questions.
Please consider submitting a proposal for one of these activities in this interactive session. It is the perfect forum to share, examine and reflect on the work you have created, without developing a full presentation. Feel free to present anything from the very small to the very large: a single lesson, a teaching technique, or a technology tool you use in the classroom.
Not convinced yet? Here are some more reasons for submitting a proposal:
Please review the poster session guidelines for more information.
Proposal should be submitted no later than Friday, March 2, 2018.
