2011 TACTYC Conference

May 12-14, 2011

 

For the 2011 conference, we are especially interested in soliciting presentations on the following general themes:

 

1.  FASB codification and hierarchy

2.  Integrating forensic accounting or fraud into accounting courses

3.  Practical applications of delivery of accounting material (i.e,, course management, grading procedures)

4.  Tips and techniques for online teaching including accessing free online resources, teaching tips, building    

     communities, engaging students

5.  Department management

6.  Tax updates, enrolled agent exam, and tax internship programs such as VITA

7.  GASB not-for-profit topics and updates

8.   Ethics in the classroom and profession

9.   IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)

10. Tips and techniques for new instructors

11. Retention

12. Assessment/Student Learning Outcomes

13. Capstone Courses

 

Please submit your proposal using this form no later than October 13, 2010.
